Major Transmission Pipeline O&M Manual

WRE worked with URS engineers in the preparation of an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manual for a transmission pipeline that conveys raw water from a reservoir to a treatment plant west of San Francisco. The pipeline, which is parallel and immediately adjacent to a major seismic fault zone, is a critical component of the water delivery system for the City of San Francisco.

The O&M Manual, which was part of a larger pipeline retrofit project, included emergency operating procedures. As part of the same project, WRE engineers performed hydrologic analyses and developed culvert design criteria for pipeline crossings.
