Development of Policies and Procedures Manual for Water Quality Division of Major Utility
Client: San Francisco Public Utilities Commission
The Natural Resources Division of San Francisco’s Water Enterprise is responsible for monitoring, protecting and restoring those lands and ecological resources under the management of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). The Division is responsible for the management of significant resources for watersheds in seven different counties.
WRE developed an online manual of procedures for the Natural Resources Division, bringing together a diverse group of guidelines previously spread out over various documents and locations. Procedures were compiled for the Limnology, Fisheries and Wildlife, and Marine Biology groups. Procedures included field activities, laboratory testing, and data analysis and management.
