A third party peer review of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s Cross-Connection Control Program was mandated by the California Department of Health Services (DHS). WRE was retained to conduct this review.

This third party peer review assessed program effectiveness and identified feasible improvements. The review addressed concerns expressed by DHS regarding staff levels and procedural changes necessary to keep the City of San Francisco’s potable water distribution system safe from potential contamination.
