ROSEVILLE FLOOD

209 structures along Dry, Cirby, and Linda creeks in the City of Roseville, California were flooded during a major storm in 1986. Flooding victims sued the City, the County, land developers, a railroad company, and the State Department of Transportation claiming deficiencies in the storm drainage system contributed to the flooding.

WRE was retained by the plaintiffs’ counsel to conduct a detailed analysis of the City’s storm drainage system, simulate the flood event, and assess the flood’s contributing factors. Mr. Gustavo Arboleda of WRE served as expert witness and spent over one week in the witness stand answering questions from all defense attorneys.
