Thirty years ago, engineers and environmental-ists were in opposing camps. Much has changed since then. At WRE, all our engineers are environmentalists, and all our environmental specialists understand water. Engineers work alongside environmental specialists to clean up and preserve the environment. Environmental considerations enter into our planning, design, operation, and maintenance of water systems. WRE also offers environmental analysis and compliance services through professionals who specialize in compliance with the National Environ-mental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
